Should I be expecting an important conversation whenever you come around?

[He's joking, but it is rather funny that their first meeting turned pretty serious for awhile, their lunch out was important conversation, and now here they are again.]

We can talk in the living room, yeah. Echo and Turbid are the only ones there and they won't interrupt unless they get hungry.

[He motions Louis to follow him.]

[Which is him joking in return, even if it may not fully come off that way.

... Pokemon, I take it? I don't believe I've met yours as of yet.

We'll see how that goes.

[They walk into the living room and there are indeed a pair of Pokemon. A Swoobat perches contentedly on the back of the chair, but gives Louis a curious look. And a Quagsire is fast asleep on the rug in a comfortable blob. Both are wearing collars fitted with tiny translators.]

Half of them. This is Echo and Turbid. They hatched about a minute apart so you're likely to see them together most often.

[Seeing the Pokemon there together, Louis shifts the bag in his arms to just one so he can give the Swoobat a little wave.]

How sweet, for them to be so close... it must be nice, knowing that they have each other for company. Certainly not the sort of Pokemon I would have expected -
But then again, I'm sure most wouldn't expect me to have the ones that I have.

Aside from my Gothorita, I suppose.

[He's kind of, like, obvious for Louis to have.]

I only actively sought out one of my four myself. My first is a Feraligatr I got at the Mall, Echo was a gift, and Turbid belonged to my teacher but imprinted on me when they hatched. I caught a Luxray not long ago.

[Echo waves back.]

Which have you got?

Currently? A Hydrapple, a Gothorita, and a Toxel. ... The last one is something of an infant, but if it were also a salamander.

... Currently, my Gothorita is taking care of him back at my suite.
I would have brought them both with me, but I knew there was a chance he would get his poisons on the gift I made for you, so I thought it better to leave them behind for now...
